Wildlife Theater
The Wildlife Theater Players invite you to join them on an adventure to the rainforest, the wetlands, or Antarctica, all from the comfort of the Zoo’s outdoor theater at Asia Plaza. So sit back, relax, and…throw up your arms like tree branches! Jump like a frog! Sing a superhero song! Innovative shows like The Adventures of Captain Cocoa, The Great Migration Adventure, and—new this summer—Pirates of the Bronx River, combine conservation and nature lessons with talking puppets and catchy tunes that are fun for all ages.
Every Tuesday morning at the Children’s Zoo, the Wildlife Theater Players perform Barnyard Babble, Pond Town, and other shows with music and puppets geared for the toddler set. With the purchase of an adult limited admission ticket on Tuesdays before 12:30 p.m., each parent and toddler age 3 and under receive free admission to the Children’s Zoo (a $3-value).
