October weekends are packed with activities, including hay mazes and hayrides, costume parades, musical theater, magic shows, and live music. Embark on a Haunted Safari to explore our B.O.O. Labs where Dr. D. Zaster is putting the final touches on Expedition Earth–his top secret experiment. Best of all, come visit with our bats, cats, and creepiest critters.

Activities
Special Broadway Cast Appearance
The WICKED street team comes to Boo at the Zoo! Stop by the WICKED booth on October 22nd and 23rd and spin the wheel of fortune, pick up some fun giveaways, and Take your photo in Oz! On Sunday, October 23rd cast members from the Broadway production of WICKED will be on hand for a special live performance and meet and greet where they will sign autographs.
Haunted Safari
Enter the B.O.O. LABS (Biological Organic Observatory), where Dr. D. Zaster is readying a top-secret experiment designed to save the animal world: Expedition Earth. But all is not going according to plan. Dr. D. accidently spills coffee all over his computer, and disaster ensues! As you move through the lab, Dr. D will be working to reboot the system. Expedition Earth guides will be on hand to help you navigate.
Time: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Costume Parade
Puppets and props will be part of the fun as you march through the zoo, alongside a 10-foot-tall grasshopper, an 8-foot-tall butterfly, and other fanciful characters on stilts, all members of the Alice Farley Dance Company.

Musical Theater
In So You Think That's Scary?, the Children's Theatre Company at Lehman creates a funny and informative musical revue about some misunderstood animals…and why they're not so scary if you give them a chance.
Time: 12:30, 1:30 & 2:30 p.m. at Asia Plaza Theater
Hay Maze Let yourself get lost at the zoo!
Time: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. at Butterfly Patio
Lost Hay Ride
Enjoy a thrilling ride that passes by Birds of Prey, the zoo's special "Creepy Hollows" display, and beneath a canopy of beautiful fall foliage.The ride includes Halloween music and a narrated storyline. Hayride admission is included with Total Experience Tickets.

Bat Chats
Visit the Monkey House to chat with zoo educators about bats.
